flaig released this 2026-10-04 15:10:43 +02:00 | 2 commits to main since this release

Bug fixes and themed notifications. To update, replace the contents of your theme folder.

    Fixes

    • The ripple never fully switched off. After the first click on an empty area, BookStack's text-selection link popup could appear off-screen until the page was reloaded. The same went for other fixed-position pop-ups inside the content, such as the editors' menus.
    • Click effects no longer fire inside editors (comments, descriptions, the WYSIWYG page editor), code blocks, menus, popups or notifications, or on the click that ends a text selection.
    • Text and password fields show the keyboard focus ring again.
    • Turning reduced motion on or off while reading no longer jumps to the top of the page, and smooth scrolling now follows the setting too.
    • Pages whose address only contains "new", "edit", "draft" or "create" inside a longer word (/page/new-world) keep their animations.
    • Table wrapping and the <details> animation stay out of editor screens.

    Changes

    • BookStack's notification toasts take the theme's colours: green, amber and red for success, warning and error.
    • The declutter option no longer hides the notification toasts. Its sort-control rule now hides only the sort control; it used to also hide the "Configure" and "Open" buttons on the account pages.
