SWADE Trappings
SWADE Trappings connects Savage Worlds item actions to a world library of Sequencer animation macros. You pick the art, preview the result and assign the macro to an action. A weapon can use one macro for its Fighting roll and another for its damage; a power can have separate macros for its activation, its placed template and its applied effect.
The module is purely visual. It does not roll dice, resolve damage, apply conditions or move tokens. Token shakes and nudges move only the token's picture, which always returns to the token's current position.
Documentation

- Library and Assignments: the library, editor, previews, asset picker, item assignments and bulk tools.
- Starter Templates: the thirteen starters, their assets and the events they are written for.
- Macro Reference: variables, target results, helpers and the module API.
- Examples: small macros to adapt.
- Settings and Permissions: settings, who may edit and assign, and how playback is shared.
- Troubleshooting and Limits: missing art, preview problems, rules assumptions and testing status.
First animation
- Install and enable SWADE Trappings, Sequencer and socketlib in a SWADE world.
- Open SWADE Trappings from the token controls (GMs) or from its entry under Configure Settings.
- Choose New → Basic ranged. Fill
PROJECTILEwith Insert asset, then save. - Select the attacker, target another token and press Play. Try Hit, Raise and the miss outcomes.
- Open the weapon's sheet and choose Animations in its header controls. Assign the macro to the Shooting row.
- Use that action on the SWADE item card: the saved macro plays.
No art is bundled. A starter whose required asset is empty plays nothing. Previews are visible to everyone connected, so set up your library outside of play.
